There are perforations on the edge of your page at varying distances, one’s on the bottom, in the middle, ones with multiple perforations

It’s always recommended to fold the perforated edge before you tear it off. This will produce a cleaner result every time.
And the paper is perfectly safe to use within a printer, even over the perforated line.
And remember when I said to fold it first? Here you can see that it tears much easier without folding it.
